－－ “Another 100 seconds at a red light…” Most of the songs on this album were written and completed in Taipei. After entering the working world, going home after work no longer necessarily meant going home. People we once knew so well gradually became people we had fewer chances to see. Without even realizing it, we had said goodbye to that angry boy we used to be. We slowly learned to accept that life keeps changing, again and again. In the end, we came to understand that growing up was always going to hurt. Within those 100 seconds at a red light, I can dream, I can be angry, I can be arrogant. It gives me enough time to imagine anything. But more often than not, I was simply afraid, disappointed, and left with regrets. “10…9…8……5……2…1” When the 100-second countdown is over, we have no choice but to keep moving forward. 《ENDLESS 100 SEC》records who we were before the light turned green. And we hope you’ll listen to our answer, too.

——— ◇ EUAN LIN from TRASH ◇Listening to Captain Ordinary takes me right back to my high school days—when love was new, and we stuffed our youth into baggy pants. “Speed” and “passion” are the perfect words to describe their music: tight arrangements and violently satisfying riffs and drumming. If the last generation of Taiwanese punk icons was led by Fire EX. and Punkhoo, then Captain Ordinary is without a doubt a name on this era’s list. Highly recommended for a full-on mosh—let’s crash into each other! ◇ A-Chang from Core Point band ◇Japanese director Satoshi Miki’s film Turtles Are Surprisingly Fast Swimmers explores an interesting theme: "ordinariness." In it, a plain housewife (played by Juri Ueno) is chosen to become a spy precisely because she’s so unremarkable. The film is filled with subtle humor—nothing over the top. Life is like that too: strangely amusing. People often chase after a life as dazzling as fireworks, but in reality, we strive for the middle ground—neither hot nor cold, like a litmus test that always lands at neutral. Skincare? Diet? In the end, we all pick the "neutral" option. If you relate to this kind of rambling nonsense, you should definitely listen to Captain Ordinary’s new album Love and Courage. They’re like the moon, endlessly cycling and spinning. The emotional phases you see are your own—Their punk youth is their own outburst— The rush of adrenaline you feel is your own illusion. This album is honestly so ordinary— But they absolutely deserve to put the word "Captain" after "Ordinary." And after listening to the whole thing, I’m left with one final message:“Youngsters! You can be unambitious—just make sure you’ve got a big d*ck.”
